Sleep Out 2018

YMCA Sleepout 2018

9th November

Could you spend a night in a cardboard box so that others don’t have to?

Please consider joining us at one of our sleepout events and raise money to change lives.

Last year was our biggest event to date and for our 10th year, we are hoping to make it bigger and better than ever before for Sleepout 2018.

Tickets are £10 each – under 18’s are half price
(must have parental permission and be accompanied by an adult.)

Individuals, friends, families and teams are all welcome to join us.

Why give up your bed?
To meet new people, have fun, reflect on our community, team building, networking – to know you are helping to change lives.
We will provide a cardboard box, bubble wrap, soup kitchen and a hot cob and drink for breakfast.

It really is a super experience – we hope you can join us.

YMCA Sleepout 2017

Our 9th Sleepout had another record breaking turnout with 190 people taking part.

175 people slept-out at Pirelli Stadium, home of the Burton Albion Brewers and 15 slept at the graveyard at St Modwen’s Church in Burton town centre.

The youngest participant was just 4yrs old and the furthest someone had travelled was 149 miles!

We had food supplied by Subways, Buskers corner featuring Chris Baldwin and Heather Gallager as well as breakfast provided by Burton Albion Community Trust.

Podcasters Back of a camper van recorded snippets of the evening and the hour long podcast can be heard via:

We raised a whopping £38,472!!!
