YMCA Burton

It has been confirmed by the Government that Charities working on the front line are recognised as key workers. Our staff are involved in delivering services to keep the fabric of society running.

We will continue to deliver our services as far as we can but as the Government issues new advice and policy updates daily, availability of some of these services may have to change.

It is anticipated that the demand for our food bank will rise dramatically and we have recently put out a social media call for extra food and monetary donations.

It has obviously been hard to get hold of key items due to people bulk buying and lack of availability.

All of our housing services remain open and operational. However, planned group activities have had to be postponed. Our outreach & navigation services continue to operate, supporting our Night Shelter in the process.

During these challenging times we will continue to support one another through kindness, acts of compassion and prayer where we can.

Thank you to our staff, our supporters, volunteers and service users for your understanding as we navigate through each day during these unprecedented times.
