The government has confirmed that all staff working for front-line charities are recognised as key workers. But what does that mean in terms of staffing?

Well, we are working round the clock to ensure our services can still operate but in a safe environment to be able to do so.

We have had to make some cuts in terms of group activities and moved some of our services online or via telephone where possible.

Our support staff within our projects are still supporting clients and we are still issuing our emergency foodbank parcels – though the usage has soared since the outbreak due to job losses and schools closing. We are still operating our night shelter.

The information from the government changes daily but we hope to be able to publish some more blog posts from our front-line services over the forthcoming weeks.

Take care of each other.
