YMCA Burton Foodbank News

YMCA Burton Foodbank News
March 18, 2020 CWan-Docksey

Our foodbank is open and operating from Reconnect as usual.

We are however, experiencing an unprecedented demand for this service and

calculate that we only have enough food to fulfil 35 full food parcels.

We understand that whilst our demand increases,  donations are expected to

fall considerably due to low stock in supermarkets.

In order to help support this service, we are asking for any help with donations of the following items;

• Tinned meat/tinned pie

• Tinned fish

• Tinned Vegetables including potatoes

• Tinned fruit

• Pasta & Pasta sauces

• Coffee/Tea bags

• Milk (UHT)

• Sugar

• Tinned puddings

• Jam

• Instant noodles/pasta

• Cereals

These can be dropped off/delivered to our main site Reconnect (Opposite the Asda Island). Alternatively if you wanted to make a monetary donation to support this service this

would be accepted with grateful thanks.

Please see our website: www.burtonymca.org/food/ for more information

or call 01283 547211.

We are unable to deliver any food parcels.
