Retail Assistant - Role Overview
We are looking for a conscientious and motivated individual with good organisational and communication skills, to join our YMCA Burton, Furniture and Shops team as a Retail Assistant. As part of your role, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the furniture shop, working alongside the Shop Supervisor and Volunteers delivering excellent customer service, quality displays and optimising sales and Gift Aid.
You will act as a representative of the charity and be expected to promote a positive image within the community.
The position will be for three days a week, 24 Hours (one must be a Saturday) on National Minimum Wage.
The role requires you to be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness.
Applicants must be 18 years old or over.
Place of work to be across sites – Alvaston, Burton and Swadlincote.
You need to hold a full driving license.

Night Support - Role Overview
We are looking for a conscientious and motivated individual to join our YMCA Burton, Night Support Team. As part of your role, you will work across the three housing projects, delivering a high quality concierge and night support service to YMCA Burton service users, ensuring everyone is safe and secure.
Contracted hours – 40 hours (4 on/4 off)
Salary – £25,862

Facilities Officer - Role Overview
At YMCA Burton, we believe in building strong communities by providing safe, secure and supportive environments for people of all backgrounds. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Officer to join our team and help maintain the smooth running of our buildings and services.
As Facilities Officer, you will play a key part in ensuring the organisation’s properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant. You will work closely with the housing and management teams to deliver a clean, secure, and welcoming environment across our sites.
25 hours per week over 5 Days.
